Formed in 2021, North Fork Crossing is a Bozeman-based band blending Bluegrass with Psychedelic Rock, Americana, and Folk. Comprised of Cade Slayden (guitar), Ryan Kelly (mandolin), Rabi Phelan (upright bass), Silas Rea (fiddle), and Matt Hickey (banjo), they’re bringing Bluegrass to a younger crowd.
Known for their high-energy live performances across Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado, they’ve built a diverse following, from Bluegrass purists to Jam Band fans. Their debut album, North Fork Crossing (2024), offers a mix of original fiddle tunes, fast-paced Bluegrass, and ballads, showcasing their unique sound.
