Petting Zoo & Barnyard Races
The Petting Zoo is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Be sure to catch the daily Barnyard Races, too!
4-H Barns
The 4-H barns are open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They are closed on Sunday to accommodate animal transport schedules.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to visit the 4-H barns! Please remember that these animals are real livestock and part of youth projects, so we ask that you respect the animals and their space. If you’d like to pet an animal, visit the Petting Zoo in the Haynes Pavilion.
Yes. Every attendee, including children, must have a ticket to attend a concert or rodeo.
The dates of the Big Sky Country State Fair 2027 are July 21st-25th, 2027.
Handicap accessible parking is available at the Big Sky Country State Fair, along with reserved, wheelchair-accessible seating at every concert and rodeo. ADA companion seating is also available.
To reserve accessible seating, please call 406-582-3270 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Accessible seating is priced the same as other tickets for the event.
Free public parking is available in the Tamarack and Oak parking lots. You can also take advantage of our Park & Ride service, with pickup at Gallatin High School Lots 1 and 2.
Shuttle buses run continuously between Gallatin High School and the Fair from 3–11 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon–6 p.m. on Sunday.
Parking in our public lots is free!
Only service dogs are allowed at the Big Sky Country State Fair.
