Big Sky Country State Fair

Can I see animals at the Fair?

Yes!!
The Petting Zoo is open from 11am – 10pm Wednesday through Saturday and 11am – 6pm on Sunday. There are daily Barnyard Races as well.

4-H Barns are open from 11am – 9pm Wednesday through Saturday as well, but closed on Sunday for animal processor transport schedules.

**Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to check out the 4-H barns but please respect the animals as they are youth projects and real livestock. If you’d like to pet an animal, please visit the Petting Zoo in the Haynes Pavilion

Does my child need a ticket to attend a Concert or the Rodeo?

Yes, they do need a ticket. Age is not a factor for the price of Concert or Rodeo tickets.

Tell me more about the Park and Ride?

The Park and Ride is a brand new FREE service offered to anyone who wants to use it. Park in the Gallatin High School parking lot 1 and 2 and ride the buses to the Fairgrounds. These buses will be on a nonstop loop from 3pm – 11pm Wednesday – Saturday and 12 – 6 on Sunday.

If you want to park and ride before buses start running at 3pm, you can take the zero fare Brownline with Streamline that picks up on Oak Street close to the Gallatin High School.

The dates of the Big Sky Country State Fair 2025 are July 16th- 20th, 2025

What services are available to Handicapped guests?

Handicap parking is available at the Big Sky Country State Fair as well as reserved seating at every concert and rodeo that are wheelchair accessible and ADA Companion Friendly! Please call 406-582-3270 on Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. to reserve those seating options! They are priced the same as any other ticket being sold!

Where do I park at the Big Sky Country State Fair?

Tamarack and Oak Parking Lots or you can take the all FREE Park and Ride picking up from Gallatin High School Lot 1 and 2. Buses run nonstop circles between here and there from 3-11pm Wednesday – Saturday and 12 – 6 on Sunday.
If you are looking to Park and Ride before 3pm, the Streamline Bus Service – the Brown Line is available to take you here as well. Picks up close to Gallatin High School.

Are dogs permitted on the fairgrounds?

Only service dogs are allowed at the Big Sky Country State Fair.

How do I buy tickets for the Fair?

You can purchase concert tickets, GA Fair tickets and Ranch Rodeo tickets for the 2025 Fair on Etix! Some of the tickets are not yet available!

Guests need to purchase tickets through etix or in person at our gate ticket booths during the Fair.
Again there is no guarantee that ANY tickets purchased on 3rd party sites will be valid. We cannot reprint or refund you for an invalid ticket.
