Online Registration will open on April 1st.
Online registration is due by 5pm on July 10
In-person registration is due by 5pm on July 1. No late entries will be accepted.
Photo Competition
We are so excited to partner with Outside Bozeman to bring you this years Photo Competition at the Big Sky Country State Fair!!
Calling all Gallatin County Photographers! Whether you are Amateur, Pro and anything else in between; you are invited to enter in this Photo competition!
Prizes range from ribbons and cash to gift baskets and a shout out in the Fall 2026 Magazine issue of Outside Bozeman!!

Horticulture
Smell the roses at the Big Sky Country State Fair!!
Do you have a green thumb? Maybe you just love a challenge that comes with community involvement? This is a great category to get your hands dirty and share your love for the earth!

Textiles
Do you find yourself drawn to fashion?
Take a chance on a new or old hobby and enter a brand-new creation! Let your creativity flow in one of the fan favorite categories! Who doesn't love a colorful hat/dress/scarf? Bring your own unique style to this year's Fair!

Culinary
Rain drops on cake walls , and simmering dishes, bright topper figures and warm bread that's rationed, these are a few of our favorite things!
While that was a terrible play on words, we think you will have a great time doing your favorite thing (cooking or baking.) Whatever your culinary creation may be we are beyond excited to have it displayed and judged at the Fair!

Creative Fine Arts
Dust off the paint brushes now is the time to get creative!
