We have 3 FANTASTIC partners teaming up to make Dinos come to life in the Haynes Pavillion at the fair! Our Jurassic-tastic Trio is Rex-Tooth Studios, Prehistoric Nation and Museum of the Rockies!

Prehistoric Fight Night | 6 – 7 p.m Wed-Sat, 5 – 6 pm on Sunday) | Suggested ages 6 and up with an adult
It’s the question on the mind of every kid (and a lot of grown-ups) when they visit a museum and gaze upon the remains of ancient monsters; Who would win in a fight?! We all have our ideas, but find out who the scientists would put their money on. In this presentation, presented by Rextooth Studios and Museum of the Rockies, contenders from across deep time “battle” in fights called by leading experts Ted Rechlin, award-winning graphic novelist and paleo artist, and MOR Outreach Program Manager, Ashley Hall.
Drawing Up The Dead | 2 – 3 p.m Wed-Sat, 1-2 pm on Sunday | Suggested ages 6 and up with an adult
Want to learn how to draw T.rex and other ancient creatures? Join award-winning graphic novelist and paleo artist Ted Rechlin and Outreach Program Manager for Museum of the Rockies, Ashley Hall, in this 1-hour drop-in program in which participants will learn about paleoart by drawing a creature from deep time. Uncover the secrets of animal anatomy and biomechanics, learn how fossil specimens inform accurate drawings, and gain valuable tips and techniques for aspiring paleo artists. Paper, pens, and instruction provided.
